Touch Up Auto Detailing, LLC., was established during the summer of 2007. Touch Up Auto Detailing began as a full-service mobile detailing company, but with growth and expansion Touch Up Auto Detailing opened its first shop location in May of 2012. Located in Bowie, Md., founder Troy Saunders leads Touch Up Auto Detailing with 30 years of experience in the auto detailing industry. Touch Up Auto Detailing stands by an unconditional "clean guarantee" to all customers through a number of services.
Meet Troy Saunders...
Troy Saunders started washing cars for fun at a young age in Harlem, N.Y. With a clear vision in his mind, he corralled a few of his childhood friends and started a neighborhood hand car wash, which later progressed into a well-known car wash (featured in a few Harlem-based movies) and the building blocks to Touch Up Auto Detailing, LLC. For the next 19 years, Troy went on to practicing his trade in the Tide Water area of Virginia and then in Atlanta, Ga. In 2007, he expanded his mobile detailing services to the DMV area and by 2012, he opened his first brick and mortar detailing shop located in Bowie, Md., where he has been servicing satisfied customers ever since. Troy will be opening up his second detailing shop in January, 2020,which will be located in Glen Burnie MD. The 7,000 square feet luxury facility will offer auto storage, window tinting, paint protection film and paint-less dent repair as well as many other services. With his passion and a genuine love for cars combined with a keen eye for detail, Troy has been making automobiles show room beautiful for over 30 years.
Dedicated to his craft and always looking to improve on his trade, Troy partakes in multiple seminars, training and classes to become licensed and certified in all areas of auto detailing. He is a Certified Installer for Ceramic Pro, Opti-Coat Pro, Xpel Paint Protection and IDA Certified Detailer with skills validated.
Troy strives to offer and provide his clients in the D.C., Maryland, Virginia and surrounding areas the best detailing experience on a personal level. This is evident by his long list of loyal repeat clients who consist of fellow car enthusiasts who share an affinity for fine automobiles and also a growing list of new customers.
